Peter Bily has been the Metro East Montessori School choral music instructor since 1990. He works with the elementary students for one hour per week. Winter and spring concerts are performed by our students under Mr. Bily’s direction every year.

Education: ACE Certified Personal Trainer, March 2009 - Present; AFFA Certified Group Fitness Instructor, August 2008 - Present; Masters of Education in Teaching Reading from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, 2004; Certificate of Elementary Education (K-6 in MO, 1-8 in IL) from University of Missouri St Louis, 1996; Bachelor of Science in Justice Systems/Juvenile Delinquency (Minor in Child Psychology) from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, 1994.

Teacher at Metro East Montessori School since 2011; Owner/Personal Trainer of Impact Training, April 2010-Present; Group Fitness Coordinator Edwardsville YMCA, 2004-2009; Classroom Teacher (Seventh Grade) Edwardsville School District in Edwardsville, Illinois 2000-2003; Classroom Teacher (First Grade) Ferguson-Florissant School District in Florissant, Missouri, 1998-2000.

Education: B.A. History and Minor in Spanish, Murray State University, 2010; Southwestern Illinois College, 2011- present. After she finishes her B.A., Haley plans on becoming a certified Montessori teacher.

Experience: Spanish teacher at Metro East Montessori School since 2011; Nanny, 2011-present; receptionist at Sport Clips 2008-2010.

Education: Attended the Aide training at Montessori Training Center St. Louis with Annette Haines, 2003; Received certificate for specialization in educational law, University of Illinois, March 2003; Received Paralegal Certification, 1990; Associate's Degree Lewis and Clark College, Godfrey, Illinois; Lewis and Clark College Godfrey, IL 1977.

Experience: Primary Classroom Aide at Metro East Montessori School since 2003; Member of International Dyslexia Association; Past board member IL Branch of International Dyslexia Association. Chairperson for IL Library Committee: National Committee Representative for Illinois for No Child Left Behind for three years.
