Every other year, the 5th and 6th level students are invited to attend Newfound Harbor Marine Institute at Big Pine Key, Florida (also known as Sea Camp). The most recent trip was taken in Spring 2010; therefore, the next trip will be in Spring 2012.

We are working to raise the tuition and board through the upper elementary fundraising efforts. We ask that transportation costs be paid by the students’ families.

Four chaperones (including the upper elementary directress) may accompany the students on this trip. Ideally, we would appreciate at least one father acting as chaperone, as housing is such that girls and boys are in separate dorms. Chaperones are expected to participate in the program and therefore are required to pay tuition/board and transportation expenses. Should there be more than three adults interested, we will have a "lottery" to determine who will be our chaperones.
